Apparently I can't resist Soup, Bead Soup that is.  This year I was partnered with the lovely and talented Katy, from On The Pond Creations.  We were paired early, being seed beaders, and both sent our soups off post haste.  USPS delivered them in record time.  Here are the beautiful beads I was sent.  I could drift off and get lost in the watery swirls of the large lampwork glass focal.  She sent along a second focal, the gorgeous rectangular polymer clay piece that Katy made herself.  Yeay Katy!

Everything was sent in these beautiful picture boxes.  I felt a little silly taking a picture of pictures but I just had to show how pretty they were
And then I might as well include a picture of what I sent.
I've started working on my piece.  No hints, you will have to come back on May 3rd when the reveal is.  Thank you Katy for my gorgeous beads.  I can't wait to see what you do with your stash!

  1. Looks like fun - looking forward to seeing what you make!

  2. what a serene color pallet ~ and you sent almost the opposite :-) this will be fun to see what you both make! enjoy Liz!

  3. Can't wait to see what you come up with! I'm still thinking on the soup you sent me. :)

  4. Hi Liz, I am waiting to see what will you do with this beautiful soup.
And I see you received some piggy beads, I am so jealous.
