Chihuly

A few years back I was lucky to catch an exhibit at the 
de Young Museum in San Francisco
by Dale Chihuly, a well known glass artist.

The installations were all quite large.  
For example the first picture is a rowboat
filled with hand blown glass spheres.

Talk about beautiful!  

These pieces remind me of beads . . . 


Artsy has a Chihuly page which is worth a look.  If you have some extra cash you might want to buy a piece and have it sent to me :-)
