The time has come to merge beads and clay. I have a long history with both, but have never put them together.
I am enjoying the freedom to try new things.
These are my first two pieces. I have a third underway and can feel more coming.

This is a wonderful way to combine 2 talents. I love the way the clay faces and beads work well with the wood especially the first one(I like blue plus drift wood)
ReplyDeleteWOW! You are really talented in both mediums!
ReplyDeleteI find myself staring at each one thinking about what brought them to close their eyes in their web of beads .... such depth to these!
ReplyDeleteoh Liz...what silent beauties! They are so simple to look at and so incredibly deep.
ReplyDeleteDid you make those clay faces too?
I used some driftwood for a project I gifted in December. It was more of a support for hanging, but the way you made yours a true part of the piece is wonderful.
Keep using!
